Henry Grethel is an innovator in sportwear, furnishings and accessories.
With a marketing education and busines experience, Grethel is both an entrepreneurial concept creator and product producer. Having held executive positions with major apparel companies - such as C.F. Hathaway, Eagle Shirtmakers and Manhattan Industries - Grethel originated and developed the John Henry brand in men's and women's wear. Grethel was the first American designer to create the opening cremeony uniforms for the men's and women's United States Olympic teams competing in the Albertville and Barcelona games.
Grethel was an early factor in "business casual" clothing, a staple in modern men's and women's wardrobes.
